माता संतोषी का व्रत पूजन करने से धन, विवाह संतानादि भौतिक सुखों में वृद्धि होती है. यह व्रत शुक्ल पक्ष के प्रथम शुक्रवार से शुरू किया जाता है .

संतोषी माता के व्रत की पूजन विधि

सुख-सौभाग्य की कामना से माता संतोषी के 16 शुक्रवार तक व्रत किए जाने का विधान है.

* सूर्योदय से पहले उठकर घर की सफ़ाई इत्यादि पूर्ण कर लें.

स्नानादि के पश्चात घर में किसी सुन्दर व पवित्र जगह पर माता संतोषी की प्रतिमा या चित्र स्थापित करें.

* माता संतोषी के संमुख एक कलश जल भर कर रखें. कलश के ऊपर  एक कटोरा भर कर गुड़ व चना रखें.

* माता के समक्ष एक घी का दीपक जलाएं.

* माता को अक्षत, फ़ूल, सुगन्धित गंध, नारियल, लाल वस्त्र या चुनरी अर्पित करें.

* माता संतोषी को गुड़ व चने का भोग लगाएँ.

* संतोषी माता की जय बोलकर माता की कथा आरम्भ करें.
